High-End Retail Manager for Coveted Luxury Brand

La Vie Style House is seeking a dynamic and experienced Retail Manager to lead our newest boutique location in Wilmette, IL. This full-time, on-site position is an exciting opportunity to join a growing luxury brand celebrated for its vibrant aesthetic and one-of-a-kind, handcrafted pieces.

As Retail Manager, you will oversee daily store operations, ensure exceptional client experiences, and inspire a small, high-performing sales team. The ideal candidate is passionate about fashion and design, thrives in a client-centric environment, and brings a polished approach to leadership, service, and sales.

Key Responsibilities

· Lead all aspects of daily store operations with an emphasis on creating a warm, elevated, and engaging shopping environment

· Deliver exceptional client experiences through personalized service and deep product knowledge

· Motivate and manage a small sales team, fostering a culture of positivity, accountability, and excellence

· Maintain accurate inventory levels and oversee visual merchandising to reflect brand standards

· Implement retail loss prevention and operational best practices

· Drive sales performance and ensure alignment with company goals and policies

· Address client inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally

Qualifications

· Minimum 2 years of experience in luxury or high-end retail management

· Strong background in customer satisfaction and client relationship building

· Excellent communication and leadership skills

· Demonstrated ability to motivate and develop a team

· Knowledge of retail operations and loss prevention strategies

· Highly organized with strong problem-solving abilities

· Bachelor’s degree preferred

 

 

Sales Associate

The Ideal Salesperson is passionate about fashion, enjoys working one-on-one with customers and thrive in a sales environment.  

Job Duties include: 

  • Promptly welcome all customers with sincerity and enthusiasm. 
  • Provide a positive customer experience by being confident, intuitive, and direct. 
  • Suggestive selling through styling and product knowledge. 
  • Consistently build and develop customer base. 
  • Thorough understanding of the company’s history. 
  • Get to know your customers and their styles. 
  • Use sound judgment when making decisions and act with integrity and respect. 
  • Use the appropriate levels of urgency to ensure time-based tasks are completed by deadlines and adapt to changes required by the business. 

 

Additional Requirements: 

  • Experience in a luxury retail environment with a minimum of 1 year experience. 
  • Open availability and flexibility to work weekends and extended hours, including holidays. 
  • Is punctual and adheres to designated work schedule. 
  • Works well with peers and management to accomplish goals. 
  • Some heavy lifting required, up to 15 pounds. Participate in the replenishment of product on the sales floor and maintenance of back stock. 
  • Ability to be aware of inventory/shortage concerns and communicate replenishment needs. 
  • Maintain store standards (visual merchandising, product representation, displays, etc). 
  • Assist store team in any merchandise movement such as receiving, floor moves, inventory transfers and markdowns. 
  • Comply with all opening and closing procedures. 
  • Point of sale experience preferred. 
  • Excellent customer service skills, and expert product knowledge. 
  • Possess the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. 
  • Possess excellent communication skills. 
  • Represent a positive attitude toward the merchandise and the company. 

 

Pay  

  • Competitive hourly compensation and sales commission will be provided.
